Wine cabinets vary from conventional glass door refrigerators to purpose built items. Some clients tell us that their customers prefer white wine almost ice cold and the red wine at room temperature. If this is what is required then you may well be better of with a normal glass door fridge.

We believe that good wine should be stored and served at around 8/10C and better cabinets will achieve this. There are some cabinets available with woodgrain finish, mirrors and wine shelving which can look superb in the right environment.

Other units include cabinets with a variety of temperature zones (typically from +3C at the bottom to +12C at the top). For long term storage carbon filters and ultra violet lighting is often available.
